A MODERN TAKE ON EAST MEETS WEST

Our Story

Kerb grew from an idea by two friends from the local area, Shona and Ciara, with backgrounds in Cheffing, Culinary Innovation and Marketing. Both are passionate about food and drink and wanted to bring a different, exciting offering to Dublin, with new tastes and flavours inspired by the East. With further help from Phoebe and Jonathan, Kerb has come to life.

Extra fresh local produce

we take pride in sourcing our products locally from award-winning irish suppliers.

Locally sourced

Our food

We felt there was a need for a healthier take on the traditional late-night kebab. Our flat breads are lovingly crafted in our kitchen and our hummus and dips are colourful and vibrant with the spices giving that extra edge. We want to create a relaxed, casual eating experience which is centred around sharing great food and drink with friends and family.

Drink Suppliers

8th Corner Coffee - We love what 8th Corner Coffee stands for. Their top quality products and high values are something that resonate with Kerb and we are excited to partner with them for all our coffee supplies

Wine lab - Reducing our carbon footprint is important to us which is why this method of serving wine is so appealing. We only use top quality wine producers and as much organic as possible.

Wicklow wolf craft beer - From Bray and now building a new brewery in Newtownmountkennedy. Our pouring beer is Arcadia. Finely balanced, with a crisp finish and gluten free.

Ciara

CIARA, OUR HEAD CHEF, DID A MASTERS IN CULINARY INNOVATION AND FOOD PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT WHICH LED HER TO SAN FRANCISCO, WHERE SHE WORKED IN A PERSONALISED NUTRITION COMPANY. SHE THEN RETURNED HOME TO COMPLETE AN INTENSIVE BALLYMALOE COURSE. SHE STRIVES FOR FRESHNESS AND HOME COOKING, SO WE MAKE ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH, IN HOUSE. SHE IS PASSIONATE ABOUT BRINGING FOOD EXPERIENCES TO LIFE AND THROUGH HER OWN TAKE ON‘EAST MEETS WEST’ HAS CREATED EXCITING DISHES THAT CAN BE SHARED AND ENJOYED BY ALL OUR CUSTOMERS.

Shona

Working in restaurants and cafes in Australia and New Zealand, and in particular Melbourne, Shona brought back many exciting food ideas for Kerb. She loved the seamless fusion between the different types of food origins and she wanted to match the vibrant flavours and spices from the East with great quality, local produce. This is very important to Kerb, so we only use top-quality ingredients from Irish suppliers who we trust and know.

"Kerb is located in the small village of Foxrock and you've got to check it out."
